Stopped in after doing wine tasting at Tomasello Winery and it was just what we needed. Somewhere close to eat and recharge before heading out. Staff was very polite and friendly. It was small but clean and food came out fast. It’s good if you are looking for quick fast food. It’s also byob which was great. There were some tables outside by the lake but i don’t particularly like wooden tables. I had a lobster roll and it was good cold sandwich had lots of big pieces of lobster meat it was pretty tasty. The roll was grilled with butter which made it even better. Onion rings were standard crunchy and tasty. Mozzarella sticks were standard but good and came out quick we were able to enjoy while waiting on food order. Definitely would stop back in for a quick bit if ever in the area again.

On the way home, a break for food. Nice neighborhood. Classic cuisine, efficient and friendly service. Very tasty! I highly recommend!

The owner is such a sweetheart! The food is fresh and excellent- specifically the chicken wraps and the burgers. The sweet potato fries are the best I’ve ever had! I love coming here every time we go to Smithville and it’s the only restaurant with healthy food there.

Really cute spot about 20 minutes out of AC. We were really surprised by the historic town of smithsville which was an unexpected gem. We ordered the crab cake Benedict and a ham and cheese omelette. The server was very nice and attentive. The crab cake was a little overfried but still yummy. My SO got the omelette and said it was good, just a little too much square cheese on top.

Burgers are amazing! Cooked perfectly. Must try the Jersey Devil burger if you like spicy. Also tried Lorraine and meat lovers omelets, very good. All fresh ingredients were used and you can tell. Food is outstanding as well as the service. Atmosphere is inviting. We will be back.

Cute out of the way location hidden in the back of an old time place. Not much seating but cozy. Our order was quickly taken, and we were asked how we would like our burgers, but all of them came out the same way. Buns were fluffy & delicious. Onion rings were delicious even though when I asked I was told it was purchase frozen. I did not mind. They were very good. French fries were nice everything was hot. Looks like they do a lot of takeout. I would say yes this place is good, but just be prepared that you will get the burger cooked fully, and not medium rare as I asked.

Always excellent food at Lakeside Grill! We've been eating here for a couple of years now and have never been disappointed! It's a small, family owned and operated restaurant and the couple who runs it is so nice! The wife manages the front and the husband is the chef. She is so sweet and friendly and he is a really talented chef: the perfect combination! We've had a lot of things from the menu and every single one has been excellent! The Strawberry Delight salad is amazing- I highly recommend it! The strawberry vinaigrette is house made and oh, so good! The Texas burger is exceptional too and cones with a double burger patty and the most perfectly cooked crispy bacon. Their lobster roll is great and so are the onion rings and sweet potato fries. From service, to location, to food, to value, this place is a gem! We make sure we eat there every time we visit Smithville! Two thumbs up from us!!👍🏻👍🏻
